Taste & Tribute 2026
The Evening Ahead
The 23rd annual Taste & Tribute, a gala benefiting the Tibetan Aid Project, celebrates the preservation of Tibetan culture. This unique event artfully blends Eastern and Western cuisines, featuring fine local and seasonal ingredients.
Four Courses with Wine Pairings
A select group of 60 guests will enjoy an elegant vegetarian menu of hors d'oeuvres and four artfully prepared courses, paired with excellent California wines.
Bid for a Living Tradition
A curated collection of fine art, travel experiences, and cultural offerings awaits your online or in-person bids. Every bid supports a landmark effort to safeguard Tibet's language and wisdom traditions.
An Enchanted Setting
Set in the Berkeley Hills, Nyingma Institute welcomes guests with a peaceful garden, Tibetan décor, and panoramic bay views.
Carrying a Culture Forward
The Tibetan Aid Project has distributed nearly 6 million traditional texts across the Himalayan region, making it one of the largest free text distributions in history.
Sharing these texts preserves not only heritage but upholds the Tibetan language at a time of extraordinary challenge to the continuity of this unique culture and tradition.
Your generosity directly supports a living tradition of wisdom and compassion.
With your kind support, you become a vital stakeholder in preserving this invaluable wisdom tradition.
